Throughout my time as a Nexus intern, I was blessed with various opportunities and experiences that have better shaped my understanding of pastoral life and ministry.
I was able to preach, lead, teach, converse, and do life with many of the people at my church. I had opportunities to get involved with the community and opportunities to serve in ways I had never imagined I would. Through the various experiences, one of the lessons that really stuck with me was the idea of journeying with the congregation.
Although I desire to be a good preacher and leader, my hope is that I continue in the conviction of loving and being present with the people. Through every season of life, will I be willing to continue walking with them, even though it may not be the greatest of circumstances?
Overall, my time in this internship was amazing and I look forward to what God has in store next.
